The Angels in heaven now have a new example in their midst of an earthy Angel. Erica learned of my son’s accident and from that point on followed him on Facebook and prayed for his healing. There was not a time that I saw her that she did not ask about him or have an encouraging word about his progress. With all that was happening to her body, she placed others first. I didn’t get to know Erica well, but got to know her well enough to be impressed by the truly genuine Godly woman she was.
Herbert and Glenda you should be very proud of the child you raised to be such an amazing woman.
There is no doubt in my mind Erica has already received her 1st assignment as a guardian angel. That person doesn’t know yet just how lucky they are!
Thank you Erica. May God give you rest & peace in your new perfect, painless body.

I first met Erica at Woods Grove Baptist Church when she was about five years old. She was laughing and playing with the other children. I feel so blessed to have known her and to have seen her grow into the beautiful, talented Christian woman she became. She is a loss not only to her loving family but also to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. I pray that God holds her family during this time and guides them through the loss of this precious life.
