James Edward Pritchett, Jr. was born March 8, 1947 in Forsyth, GA to the late James Edward Pritchett, Sr. and Dorothy Castleberry Pritchett. He was also preceded in death by brother, Wayne Pritchett; and two sisters, Kathy Pritchett and Martha Ann Pritchett.

 

Eddie graduated from Mary Persons High School and attended Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College pursuing a wildlife biology degree. He started in the log home building and restoration business in 1985 and continued in this business known as the “Chinking Specialist” –James Ed Pritchett-Old and New.

 

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 47 years, Sharon Eady Pritchett; his children, Raymond Conrad Pritchett of Key West, FL, Joshua Abe Pritchett and wife, Kandace of Sarasota, FL, and Tiffanee Leah Pritchett and partner, Andre Luke of Cartersville, GA. Eddie has six grandchildren, Sage Pacella Pritchett, Devin Amond Pritchett, Carle Denise Pritchett, Carmello Nassir Morris, Kayleigh Rae Pritchett, and Keira Raine Pritchett. Eddie’s sisters are Annette Andrews and husband, Wayne, Sue House, Janice Crook and husband, David, Gail Langford, and Judy Andrews. His sisters-in-law include Hazel Eady Thompson, Dorothy Eady Sanford, Bernice Eady Crawford and husband, Carl and Linda Eady Sparacino and husband, Jim. Eddie also leaves behind many, many specially loved nieces and nephews.

Dear Sharon;
My heart is just breaking for you, So sorry for you loss so
early. Ed could not have been sick long, thank God for that. Thought he was do so well after knee replacements.
