A very friendly man that made you very comfortable talking to. Always with a smile, very kind, just like the rest of his family. It gives great peace knowing his is in a better place. We will see you again Charles.

My good friend Charles Price was a man of integrity who loved God and served Him. He was especially devoted to his loving wife Doris and the two of them were inseparable. Charles had a large extended family of relatives and friends, especially a young man named Matthew Sternthal who called him "Pop" (they were that close). My good friend will be sorely missed. I'm sure God had other plans for Charles and he is in good hands.

Charles and Doris would often attend family functions with Bob's side of the family (Lynn's in-laws). I am not sure how other families operate but Charles and Doris fit right in! It was always a joy to have them around for a chocolate filled game of dominoes, great conversation at a family style meal or relaxing by the lake as the sun set. What was emphatically clear was how much Charles loved his precious wife and children! He was a kind, gentle soul who is now an angel with the Lord. I have a sense of peace knowing he is looking down over those he holds most dear. May God hold all his family and friends close as we celebrate the life of such a wonderful person. Although the extended family members in Texas are not there physically, we send love and warmth that equals the wamth of God's embrace that we felt through those spectacular lake side sun sets. Blessings to all!

IT HAS BEEN OUR PRIVILEGE AND JOY TO KNOW CHARLES. WE MET HIM AND HIS BEAUTIFUL DORIS THROUGH ST. ANDREW LUTHERAN CHURCH, AND FROM THE FIRST TIME WE MET, WE'VE HAD A SPECIAL, SPIRITUAL CONNECTION WITH THEM. JON & CHARLES SPENT MANY HOURS TOGETHER DOING “GUY STUFF” IN THEIR RESPECTIVE GARAGES, WHILE SANDIE AND CHARLES HAD SUCH FUN AND SPIRITED DEBATES, AS CHARLES TEASED HER ABOUT HER “BLONDE” QUESTIONS AND OPINIONS. DORIS, WE PRAY GOD WILL HOLD YOU GENTLY IN HIS ARMS AND WATCH OVER YOU DURING THESE NEXT DIFFICULT WEEKS AND MONTHS AHEAD. IN THE MEANTIME, WE FIND COMFORT IN KNOWING CHARLES IS HOME NOW WITH GOD, AND HE HAS THE DEFINITIVE ANSWERS TO ALL OUR DISCUSSIONS. REST IN PEACE, CHARLES...AND WE KNOW YOU DO, IN OUR FATHER'S ARMS. WE'LL SEE YOU AGAIN!

We will remember Charles as the sweet Daddy of our dear friend Lynn. We have beautiful memories of sharing holiday dinners, birthday celebrations and special occasions with "Dad and Doris." He had such pride in the amazing woman Lynn grew into. His love for his children and four grandchildren was always evident as was his dedication to Doris. Even though Charles will be missed, we pray that it is a comfort for his family to know he is now with God.

My prayers are with Doris, Lynn, Louise and Roy,and all of Charles' family, even while I rejoice with them that he is at home with the Lord today and always! I had the pleasure of spending a few days in Andrews with Charles and Doris last month in the company of my dad, to whom Charles was a brother. The memory of his smile, even in the face of this illness, is something I'll never forget. God is truly able. My deepest sympathies to you all.

Charles will be greatly missed. I got to know this remarkable cousin of mine later in my life. I enjoyed and admired him so much I wish I had known him sooner. I loved hearing about his motorcycle escapades! I appreciated his love for his family. Most of all, I loved that he was so warm and genuine. He will be missed.

We will remember Charles as a truly loving and devoted husband to our sister Doris. Together, Charles and Doris lived their wedding vows with exemplary character. Each "stayed the course" with remarkable love, strength and support when times got tough. Charles genuinely displayed a great love and appreciation of God and of his family and many friends. His endless sense for adventure and travel was enthusiasticall y shared with those fortunate to be in his presence. Charles enjoyed a good laugh! He was a master at conversation, a thoughtful listener and above all a true gentleman. He will be missed by all. Love, Bob and Irene

I will miss my sweet, fun-loving Uncle Charles. I will miss that sweet southern voice calling me "Yankee" with a tease and letting me comb his hair when I was little. You let me sit on your lap always making time for me; just hanging out.

Always wonderful memories!! Rest in Heaven and we will see each other again.

All my love, Wendy Kay
