The "old neighborhood" has lost a very good man.. I always enjoyed being around Windal from childhood through adulthood. He was a very kind, helpful and generous neighbor. My memories of him are all fond memories. May God, in His infinite grace and mercy, give you comfort and peace. Rick

Jeff,
Although I did not know your father, his eyes and smile in the photos you have posted of him on FB show a kind soul. I am sorry for your loss.

Mr. Swanson, we are neighbors and I just want to say my prayers are with you and your family at this time and beyond. I watched your Dad everyday go to the senior center, then ride the bus daily. I was encouraged by his strength. Even from a distance. Tina

Roger, Susie, Mitchell and family,
My Dad and your father were both strong Pleasant Valley men. They both lived to be 94 and we were so fortunate. I feel for you and your family and the great loss you are experiencing. Although I am not in Murphy and unable in person to tell you what pleasant memories I have of your father, know that I am thinking of all of you and appreciate all of your family as an important part of my childhood. May God bless you and give you peace and comfort now during the difficult times ahead. Marsha
