Calvin Stiles, age 74, of Bremen, Georgia passed away on Wednesday evening, April 10, 2019. He was a native of Murphy, but had lived in Bremen, Georgia for several years. He had been the owner and operator of Stiles Logging Company until his retirement.

He was the son of the late Winston and Pearl Hamby Stiles. He was the husband of the late Bonnie Redfoot Stiles, who died in 2010.

Surviving are two sons, Kevin Stiles and Kurt Stiles; a daughter and son in law, Cheryl Hudgens and husband Jamie; two brothers, Delbert Stiles and Lynn Stiles; a sister, Diane Pate; and four grandchildren, Meghan and Cody Rudeseal, Jordan and Jacob Stiles. A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where he did lie in state one hour prior to the service.  The interment followed in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family received friends on Sunday evening, April 14th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home, Cedartown, Georgia.
